3D Concept &
Spatial Design
Design service
The upstream service — where the project is designed in 3D before it's visualised. I work with clients to develop spatial layouts, volumes, material directions, and design concepts from an initial brief, often before any architectural drawings exist.
This is where my engineering background is most valuable. I can resolve structural constraints, buildability issues, and spatial proportions at the design stage — before they become expensive problems on site or in later visualisation rounds. The result is a resolved 3D design that moves straight into final visuals without the usual back-and-forth.
Most useful for retail fit-outs, event installations, bespoke interiors, and early-stage architectural projects where the design is still being developed. Can be delivered as a standalone design service or as the first phase of a full visualisation project.
Photorealistic
CGI Stills
Hero images for planning applications, investor presentations, developer marketing, and brand campaigns. Built on an accurate 3D model, lit and composed to communicate intent, scale, and atmosphere — not just to look impressive, but to do a specific job for a specific audience.
Exterior and interior views, day and evening lighting, occupied and empty states. Each still is approached as a piece of visual communication with a purpose — not just a render for the sake of rendering.
Product Visualisation
& Packshots
High-fidelity product renders for e-commerce, brand campaigns, pitch decks, and retail presentations. Clean studio packshots on neutral backgrounds, lifestyle product imagery in context, and detailed material close-ups — all produced to the technical standards required for print and digital publishing.
Particularly suited to furniture, lighting, fixtures, and interior products — categories where material accuracy and scale credibility matter most. Also applicable to architectural hardware, bespoke joinery, and branded retail display systems.
3D Floor Plans
& Layouts
Rendered bird's-eye-view plans that communicate spatial organisation, furniture arrangement, and circulation routes with far more clarity than a technical 2D drawing. Where a standard floor plan shows dimensions, a rendered 3D layout shows how the space will actually feel and function.
Widely used in planning submissions, sales brochures, retail layout presentations, and event pre-production. Can be produced at varying levels of detail — from schematic layouts to fully furnished and textured environments viewed from above.
Cinematic
Animations
Walkthrough, flythrough, and fly-around animations that move a client, a planning committee, or an investment board through a space before it exists. Scripted to your narrative — not a generic camera path, but a considered sequence that reveals the project in the right order for the right audience.
The camera script is part of the brief. Where the animation starts, what it reveals, and where it ends are decisions that affect how the project is understood — and they're made deliberately, not defaulted.
VR & 360°
Experiences
Two levels of immersive experience depending on your need. 360° panoramas are single high-resolution images rendered in all directions — viewable on any device, shareable via link, requiring no special hardware. Ideal for remote client presentations, sales suites, and planning consultations where you need to communicate scale and atmosphere beyond what a flat render can offer.
Real-time VR walkthroughs go further — interactive environments built in Unreal Engine where stakeholders navigate the space at their own pace, switch material finishes, and experience scale with full physical presence. Best suited to high-value residential sales, flagship retail concepts, and large-scale experiential installations where the investment in immersion is justified.
Why engineering
accuracy
matters in CGI.
Most revision rounds happen because the visualiser didn't fully understand the brief, the drawings, or the technical constraints. My engineering background means I read all three before a single model is built.
I read structural drawings the way your contractor does. I know what a planning officer looks for in a rendered elevation. I understand the difference between what a space will feel like and what the drawings say it will measure — and I resolve that gap in the model, not in revision rounds.
In practice: fewer revisions, faster delivery, and outputs that hold up to technical scrutiny as well as creative judgment.
Brief
You share drawings, references, and goals. I ask the questions an engineer asks — about structure, scale, material constraints, and end audience. Scope, timeline, and budget agreed before anything begins.
Typical turnaround on a quote: 24 hours.
Design &
Iteration
I work in two rounds. The first pass establishes composition, materials, and spatial accuracy. You review and give direction. The second pass refines lighting, atmosphere, and detail. Full visibility at every stage — no black box.
Most projects resolve within two rounds. Engineering rigour applied from the start is why.
Delivery
Final files delivered in agreed formats — TIFF, PNG, JPEG, MP4, or project-specific requirements. Technically accurate, deadline-met, fully licensed for your use. Source files available on request.
